Technical Notes
The RBC intake manifold requires boring the injectors into the manifold itself to utilize factory-diameter 9th Gen Civic Si injectors; otherwise, standard K-Series (8th Gen Civic Si) style injectors must be used. Acura RDX injectors are also a popular solution. We also recommend port matching the intake manifold plenum for 70mm ZDX to achieve optimal performance in X applications.

Both the adapter plate and throttle body spacer are CNC-machined from high-quality billet 6061 aluminum and have reusable O-ring seals to ensure a leak-free installation in both naturally aspirated and boosted conditions. Unlike conventional RBC conversion methods that often require welding, extensive modifications, or custom fabrication, PRL unique design eliminates those hassles, providing a clean and straightforward installation.
For customers wishing to retain the factory 2012–2015 injectors, minor injector-related machining is required, a service we also offer. Alternatively, by using 2006–2011 Civic Si injectors and injector plugs—or upgrading to aftermarket injectors such as Injector Dynamics—the RBC manifold installation becomes completely bolt-on.
